B.Sc. Midwifery Coursework
What does a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery Degree look like? In addition to hours of hands on apprenticeship training, I completed several courses. The coursework helped hone my skills as a birth professional and developed a greater understanding of the role of midwives in the medical community. On my way to the clinic for prenatal day. My birth bag is on the back of my motorcycle. A midwife's birth bag contains supplies needed for normal birth as well as for unexpected emergencies. Midwives have training in newborn resuscitation and can manage postpartum hemorrhage. They also make timely transfers into health centers so that women and babies can have the best possible outcomes.
